Emmett Alston

Writer / Producer

Emmett Alston began his career as the cinematographer on a short film directed by George Lucas (Star Wars, Indiana Jones) entitle “1:42.08”. He went on to shoot the gloriously gonzo experimental horror oddity "Moonchild" and the Southern-fried drive-in romp "Country Blue" (which he also co-produced).

Of Alston’s 7 directorial efforts, he made his directorial debut with the off-the-wall comedy "Three-Day Weekend." He went on to helm two enjoyably schlocky fright features: the seasonal slasher outing "New Year's Evil" and the uproariously ridiculous sci-fi/horror item "Demonwarp."

With a special affinity for entertaining martial arts action pictures, Alston directed the incredibly inane tongue-in-cheek spoof "Nine Deaths of the Ninja", and wrote the script for the fun "Deliverance" rip-off "Hunter's Blood."

He produced Andrew Chiaramonte’s romantic classic "Twogether.", www.twogethermovie.com, and co-wrote the story for and Executive Produced the multi-award-winning film, “Adam’s Package”, www.adamspackage.com, which is currently in release streaming worldwide.
